Allrighty, the goal for the group is 150,000 miles this year.
Indoor or outdoor miles count. If you want to join up, either email me or PM me your email address. I have the invitations going out slowly, Google is giving me fits about bulk mailing the participants from last year, so I'm getting them out as quickly as I can.
Here is the link to view it, though!

And I'm already behind the machine.
201.87 miles so far (200k DNF brevet, short recovery ride, 100k ride)
Still 3 hours to go in our 200k. Approximately 8pm overloooking Arlington, TX on the top of a hill I hit 44 mph going down sparsely using the brakes.
Hm for week 1.. does Sunday-Wednesday of 08 count towards first week 09 or was I supposed to put it in 08.. right now it is limbo.

It can actually be whatever 7 day period you want to use, Fred, that';s part of the reason I got away from the month to month and simply went with weeks 1-52.

You'd think these bags would be enough but hey I could rig something up for a daytime attempt
*sigh* So far week 2: 0 miles. Freezing fog, freezing rain and yesterday recovering from 350 miles for the week that bridged 08/09. Anyone have a pair of 20" studded tires? I hate to buy new ones but I also hate not to ride.

If you are getting it read only, there was apparently a problem.

Slightly off-topic, but I couldn't find the thread:
I have 9,281 miles for all of 2008 if you want to add them to last year, if it makes any difference.
Also, I don't mind giving over my mileage for 2009, I just keep track of it on a monthly basis, not weekly. So if I can post those totals, that'll work for me.

Shoot me your email and I'll send you the invite to the 2009 setup. You'll just be posting your monthly tots instead of week. Just treat the week 1 as Month one, etc. No problem.
35 miles for me this week. The weather has sucked.

Well said, Fred! Neil, 2 miles is 2 miles more that you would have made if you didn't do it at all. We'll take it.

2 commutes and a couple shopping trips. Hopefully I'll pickup some more miles next week.
