I CANNOT HAVE THIS WHILE RIDING! What's Yers"?

One thing that really bugs me, I cannot have this! Is toenals of any length!

Eegads! If I ride with long toenails, it bugs the carp outta me! If I cut them and don't file and round the edges just right, it's annoying! Sometimes the corner of my nail will stick the toe next to it. Gotta be smmoth and uniform! Just can't deal with the discomfort!

Bad enough going to work, but riding with jagged nails? Yikes!

What's yer per peave when it comes to riding? No dirty underwear claims. We don't ride with undies, you know that!

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Oh! AW! Geeze! I didn't think this one thru well enough before I posted! But then , do I ever?

I hate dust , waterspots, scratches anything that is on the lens. Seems to disturb my vision. Maybe stems from that ugly aura thingy I see during migraines!

People mindlessly walking in front of me and cars that make right turns without bothering to look to see me on my bicycle. Darn inconsiderate people!!!!

Pedestrians (and other cyclists) on MUPs who listen to music at full blast or are yammering in their cellphones, walking on paths wherever they please. Once in I had to almost yell in a pod-person's ear and tap him on his shoulder to get his attention so I could pass. (This was after several polite and far less intrusive attempts.)

Rattles, squeeks, and creaky noises.

I also hate red lights that won't recognize I'm at the intersection.

My worst accident was caused by sweat running into my eyes, and in trying to rub them I went onto a gravel shoulder and went down. Now I always wear a headband if I'm not wearing any other head covering.

I never considered this a peeve though. My pet peeves that occured while riding my bike are chapped lips and hangnails and for years I never left home without Chapstick or a nail clipper. I've gotten over the Chapstick and haven't used it in years but I still travel with a nailclipper everywhere.

My interpretation of the OP is that things like flats, broken spokes, rattles, ice, mindless (non-cycling) people and crashes are annoyances germane to cycling, but peeves are personal inscrutables that usually don't bother most people.

Cars that pass too close. Few things set me off like feeling the suction from a sideview mirror sweeping past my head.

Riding into the wind first only to have a front go through and ensure that the return leg is also into the wind.

I know that, and some women do, but that's not what I meant. I'm recalling conversations along the lines of:

The Historian: What sort of clipless are you riding? I've thought about trying clipless again.

Real Cyclist: Well, you know, you can be a good cyclist and not ride clipless.

TH: Yeah, but I'd still like to try it again.

RC: Well, you know, you might not find it works for you.

TH: Why?

RC: Well, ah, it's... (RC stares at TH's legs) ...it's just not for everyone.

TH: Why?

RC: Oh look at the time! I gotta go. Nice riding with you!

Bah! Forget them! If you want to ride clipless ride clipless. Heck, you were brave enough to take your shirt off on a hiking trail, which is more than I would do. I would suffer the heat vs. show my fat to the world, so kudo's to you.

Back to the OP's thread though... Peeve's of mine:

Shaving the night before and getting a chaffed face due to the helmet strap.

Having to take a wiz every 20 minutes due to my small bladder and riding position.

Sweat running onto my glasses (as others have mentioned), or into my eye's.
