Outta here to someplace warm

That's it. I need to ride outdoors, somewhere warm.

Took a week off work, packing up the car, putting on the bike rack and heading south. First down to Albany, GA to visit my son and his family, then on down somewhere near Panama Beach, in the Panhandle.

The bike is coming and I plan to ride as much as I can next week somewhere where there is no ice, no snow and no need to bundle up in layers of clothes.

I can't wait. Never been so caught up with cabin fever. The temps down south are predicted to be in mid to upper seventies.

Naw for that you would need to throw in a 20MPH wind (a wind chill factor of -40) ..... Nothing says cold like standing outside on a brutally cold day, in a stiff wind, waiting for a $%#@*&! bus that is $%#@*&! late...... I've been there, and yes, time does stand still.

Around here it's weird though, Wednesdays HIGH was -18℃ with a wind chill of around -30, yesterday was -12℃ with a wind chill of -20, today got up to -2℃ with no wind (so no wind chill), tomorrow is supposed to be +6℃ a change of 24℃ in only 3 days. Supposed to stay near or above freezing all week, and rain for several days, that should really drop the snow levels down. Need to clear out the catch basin at the bottom of the driveway so the rain and snow melt has somewhere to go.....

Hey, if you cut thru the bottom SW corner of PA. on the way down, pick me up!

Enjoy the warmth,

Denny
