Damn, an injured knee

I got rear ended while at a stop light yesterday (in my car, not on my bike. THAT would have really pissed me off, I do love my V-Rex). I think my left foot must have whacked the car floor since it was a decent impact. No whiplash due to my Saab's fancy anti-whiplash headrest.

I have an aching left knee and an ortho appt later today. If this keeps me from cycling next week I'm going to be really irritated.

Ok.. Statistically I'd say Clydes on Recumbents should not drive I was rear ended after I had been stopped behind 5+ other cars at a stoplight last year in my wifes car. Or maybe we shouldn't stop at lights
Hopefully you got a police report oy. G'luck with the ortho and make sure to listen to them you don't want it to be a long term issue.

Fortunately it appears that I've merely bruised the soft tissue inside the knee joint. I have permission to bike so long as it doesn't hurt, but I'll take the weekend off. Other than that, ibuprofen and a soft brace for a week, and an mri later if it doesn't improve.
