I know what you mean, I'm ready for the weather to break. I need to ride! Of course you know once it warms up, then we have to deal with the 30-40mph winds. Oh the joy.

Soon, sooooooon. I hope.

It was real nice all week, then got cold and windy for the weekend. I still got out and rode some, just not as much fun.

Yappers and Ilive right at the Lake Erie and Detroit river and my normal route on daily rides is north and south !! And MOST a the time the wind gets me coming or going or BOTH !!!! even a East wind off the water is BAD west is best IF I GOTTA HAVE WIND ERRRRR .
And we all know in March in Michigan were going to get wind . That I deal with but not a wind like we get with wind chills below ZERO !! Sorry I guess that makes me a 54 yr old wimp. Besides I don't enjoy riding in frigid weather 40 or above is ok with me thou . That I can deal with unless we have 30 or 40 mph winds .

IMHO here in Michigan and I think MOST of the midwest this is the worst winter we have had in over 25 yrs ! AND it won't go away . our averag temps pose to be about 40 right now and here we set in zero or below lows and 20 degree if that highs .

I tell you its very depressing very very depressing

I feel your pain, we got up to a high of -7℃ on Saturday with a wind chill of -10C

Okay it's nice having the trainer now, but come on, enough is enough already, it's been winter since before the wife's birthday (Nov 8) -- Sundays high is what is the normal low -6℃

I know what you mean, I was putting new bar tape on my CAAD9 an the garage was so warm and humid. I'm was thinking, damn it's still February, I should not being seeing lightning and hearing thunder. Now this morning on the other hand...we are getting slapped with a nasty storm and the temps are about 54. A fairly normal range for us.

I'm in Indiana.....

I used to live in Tennessee, though and they would close school if snow was even predicted.

Yes its me

No I still play golf a LOT but took a up riding again GOLF wasn"t helping my weight enough .Golf is GODS game I go on Sunday a LOT then do my ride . In truth I like both sports a LOT ......But I was perty sick for a yr and had do somthing about my weight hence the bikes its was a natural thing for me to do I have always had a couple bikes here .Weight balooned up to 371 lbs now have lost about 115 lb's 40 or 50 to go then I will see . I couldn't function very well at almost 400 lb's . pm me dude .I might have a ticket to the Masters this yr a true holy spot and days If I do Iam hauling my bike with me thou should be some nice riding in that area

Long story short cycling saved my life IMHO I would not of lived long at the 400 lb mark I will never stop riding now unless god forbid I had to for medical reasons and then they might have to tie me up to keep me off a bike

That's excellent! You've lost a bunch of weight and having fun doing it. Wonderful stuff. And a chance to go to the Masters. Wow. I started riding again back in late April. Same as you, always had bikes around, but didn't ride enough. Kids are older now and I've found time to pedal. I'm really enjoying it.

Just what is this thing "snow" that you speak of?

The 20mph wind sure put the kibosh on my average speed during today's ride. I guess I'll be seeing the upper 30's by tomorrow morning. Sweat like a horse on yesterday's ride though.

Think I saw it on TV once. Very strange. Thought my reception was bad and kept smacking the TV trying to get it to straighten up.

It snowed today here as well, but I got my weekend ride in yesterday morning when it was a balmy 23 degrees outside. The only issue I always have is the damn water in my bottle is freezing after about 2 hours riding and after I turned around to ride back home I had a stiff and cold headwind to deal with for the next 20 miles, that sucked. But I still got 42 miles in, so I'm quite happy.
I definitely can't wait till end of March, when the first races start and hopefully warmer weather will await us.

It appears to be about half a foot on the ground here, with more falling. So much for riding.....

No snow here, but temps are below freezing. Never got above 30 all weekend and we will only see a high of 25 today. Even though I ride in all sorts of weather, I am so sick of this winter crap.

If Fla weren't so crowded, I'd probably consider moving there. Then again, one can't beat spring, summer and fall in the Mid-west.
