Rolling again!
Yay! First ride of the year! Now to see if I can keep it up and ride more than I did last year.
Since it was a little chilly tonight, what do you wear for an outer layer? Long sleeved jersey, polarfleece? My fat bits are chilled!

Riding in the rain while temps in the forties, I use a cheap jersey, cheap underarmor (target style) and the windbreaker. Never had to ride in anything colder here in Cali!

Inner layer, should be a wicking layer, this draws moisture in or through it, if you like synthetics Polyester wicking layers are best, if you like natural materials, silk works as well if not a little better.
Middle or insulating layer polyester fleece or wool work best, the idea of this layer is to trap air between fibres, and that is what really insulates. Probably best for all round use to have one thin garment and one medium weight garment, use both if it's very cold.
Outer or weather layer, this is to keep rain and more importantly wind off, Goretex and Goretex like materials are best in that they let moisture through, but not liquid water, and tend to block the wind to some degree.

If I ever smoke, I will go with a pipe. But not quite old or distinguished enough yet!

I fully agree with my wife iam in my second childhood and hate work like I did school . So I skip work a LOT so when someone orders a pen they gotta wait until I feel like making it . Iam lazy NOT as fat as I was and hate work . I tried growing up and being an adult with kids was no fun :O) No Iam not rich but Iam fine as long as I have money for bikes and toys you know like a kid :O)
Besides my wife likes work she retired once and went back I think to get away from me and the damn dogs LOL . I think she would a stayed retired if she would a known I was going to take up with a bike :O)NO need for both of us to be miserable lol
PS Iam going to be a granpa in a few months I can"t wait to spoil it and watch my daughter lose her mind lol pay backs a B#$%^H roflmao
