Wooohooo!!!!

I'm just tickled to death, my honey had a Dr. Appt today and her A1C is down 2 points! The Doc was thinking insulin, but now she isn't gonna need it! What a load off of her mind! So if she keeps eating right, getting some exercise, she's gonna be good

Which reminds me Sponsors desperatly heened for the 2009 Tour de Cure! I'm thinking it would be pretty awesome to find a cure!

Oh yeah, I had a great ride yesterday! Cold! but great!

That's great news man! My mother-in-law is diabetic, and so is my brother-in-law. Glad to hear she isn't going to need the shots!

That's just awesome 1blueTrek! My husband has type two, and his daughter will inherit it from both her dad's and her mom's side.

We all hope that the lift on the federal funding ban for stem cell research will accelerate finding a cure.

1bluetrek - good news, excercise does payoff.

How much snow you get? Up north Spokane area we got 5 or 6 inches of snow.

Hang on there folks, we're gonna find a cure!
My hunny was pretty happy with her results, she has been working pretty hard at keeping things in check.

Congratulations, I'm proud to say that I raised and rode in the Tour de Cure. I have a history of diabetes in my family so hopefully there will be a cure one day.

Great news!!

It seems taht Type II definitely can be held off with proper diet and ecxercise. I literally know dozens of people who have reversed their numbers over the years by either cranking up the exercise or by avoiding processed and/or cooked foods and animal products.

Here is an update!

Jen was so happy when she got home last night! After I turned in, she got online, sponsored me for $50 and signed up to volunteer at the Tour de Cure! Yay!! I love that woman

I'm only $100 shy of my $500 dollar goal!!

You're currently the #1 money leader for Team Bio-Rad, and keeping us solidly perched at 2nd place in the Seattle fundraising.
As of today, we're the largest registered team in Seattle (14 riders).
