Missed my goal and photos from a beautiful day in the Southwest
I am technically an emeritus so I guess I shouldn't post this here, but I like this forum so much better!
I work at a university and had the week off because it was spring break. My goal for the week was to ride 200 miles. I missed it though I managed 181, which I am still pretty happy about and is the most I've ridden in a single week.
One of the rides this week was pretty awesome. It involved some really steep climbs, a creek crossing and two national or state parks.
Here are a few photos:

Is that Saguaro Park in Tucson. I rode thru there in the Tour De Tucson back in 1998'ish.
Anza Borrego is nice. I like the Tour De borrego and Borrego to the Sea, nice rides.

This is actually Sabino Canyon. They open it up to cyclist after 5 p.m. It is the first time I had been riding in the canyon. Saguaro Park is really nice though. I've done that a bunch.
