How many of us here are over 300 lbs...

Just out of curiosity, how many of us here are ovr 300 lbs. Personally, I currently weigh in at 363 down from my highest of 392. Actually got down to 347 last summer, but took a couple of lbs over the winter months. Maybe we can start a thread, motivate ourselves to become that lean 290 that we know is inside of us! Hee hee.

Cheers everyone!

Eric...

My heaviest was 385 just over 7 months ago. I am now passing 340 on the way down.

I have lost in excess of 30 pounds in the last month. Of course, the lapband and it beginning liquid diet have helped tremendously.

My target weight is 220, and I would be absolutely ecstatic if I could exceed my target and get down to 180-190.

336 as of this morning @ 6'2". I've been as heavy as 355 and spent most of the winter around 345. I had been down to 325 last year (following a nasty strep infection when I basically didn't eat for about 5 days) but went rather inactive through the winter. I had been suffering some pre-diabetic symptoms that have abated since I started following Mark Sisson's Primal Diet plan. For the last 6 weeks, the symptoms have abated and I've lost about 2lbs a week.
With more regular commuting and this new dietary plan, I'm hoping for <300 by the end of the summer.
My regular ride is a 2008 Jamis Aurora. I enjoy the stability and geometry of the sport touring frame and cushy ride of the steel and wide-ish tires. I still have a 2005 aluminum Trek 7300FX which I rarely ride anymore because I find it a bit small for me, the geometry is rough on my back and the frame material makes the ride unforgiving on the roads in my area, despite the 700 x 35 tires. Additionally, I've found that on that ride, the componentry is not optimal for a cylde (I'm convinced that this bike was manufactured to be a garage ornament and not bicycle to be ridden.)

My peak was 421... probably a little higher as I gave up soft drinks and started eating somewhat better before I first started Weight Watchers, and got on a scale that could weigh me.

I am currently at just under 350 and dropping from a recent peak of 362. I have been to just under 300, before a period of back sliding and depression...

My ultimate goal is to be half the man I used to be.

6' and 370 down from 398 last year. (I'd made it down to 360, but holidays happen)
I'm just putting the finishing touches on the Nashbar Touring Frame build for my main bike.
Up until now I've been riding the Hardrock and the Trek 1220.

I don't know if I count, but I was once about 400 pounds, and dropped to 242 a year and a half ago. I'm now in the mid 280s, and trying to get back to 240.

Im somewhere just north of 300. Not weighing myself til after the triathlon. Some of the muscle building shifts weight from fat, and its a bit counteractive to weigh myself while im working out. Ive really started watching my food, and hitting the pool harder now that im feeling better.

310 @ just shy of 6' as of this morning. I was up to 350 last year(largest ever). Shooting to loose 70 lbs this year and ride over 2100 miles. I actually went in the 295-298 range a few times over the last 4 months but will not post as being under 300 until I weigh in there for at least 2 weeks straight.

Welcome to the Uber Clyde Club, we are a force to be reckoned with

Huge dedication. Colossal confidence. Copious amounts of commitment. Abundant acceleration and substantial speed,Truly a ton of fun, we be!

I weigh around 300-310. I haven't been on a scale since I saw I went north of 300. I used to be very active and fit for my muscle mass and frame at around 220-225. That's where i would love to get back to. I just purchased (as in last night) a 09 Trek 7.2FX w/ child carrier. Its amazing how little kids can really pack a few pounds onto a guy. Since my wife became pregnant back around spring 07, I have gained almost 50 pounds. I was ~260 at a physical right after Christmas 06. Currently my daughter is 13 months old and just big enough to fit into the rack mounted child carrier. I plan to ride at least 3 times a week this summer once Mon-Thur, Once on Friday (my day at home with the kid) and once on Sat-Sun.

Its been a while since I have regularly ridden a bike (about 5-6 years). In college I had a Trek 4300 mountain that i would ride to class and around the parks on the weekends.

My goal is to get down to below 275 by the end of summer.

**note - First post :-).

312 this morning. @ 5'11 or so.
I was 340 about a year ago. Didn't really make any serious weight loss efforts until January though.

Just a vote from us "little" guys, I never got to 300, closest I came was 260, that was scary enough... Currently 220 and wanting to start heading back down... Bored with the trainer, and looking toward the summer riding season...

My high was 375, currently sitting at 287. Keep at it and you can lose it.

I was at 313 when I started riding again in December 2007. I am 230 now. I am not sure where I will stop. I definitely have more to lose, I am just not sure how much. I will know when I get there.

330lb now - about as big as I've ever been. Part of the motivation for getting a bike is to get that under control.

(The other part is a memory of the freedom and fun of tootling around on a bike. I had a single speed beach cruiser in college with big Wald wire panniers and basket. I put that poor beast through seven levels of hell... I used it like a pickup truck, commuted everyday to work and school, rain and shine and Florida heat.)
