I managed to drop 2.2 pounds this past week, and ride about 30 miles, which for me is the most for one week yet. My goal for the next couple of weeks is going to be to ride at least 30 miles each week. And of course to continue to drop weight, at least 1 pound a week, preferably more.

More of the same. Ride a bunch, don't gain any weight. Work on eating strategies for longish rides.

Well, I somehow gained a pound last week. Hit 220 miles on the bike though, which was good. Ran 8 miles. All was apace, but I spent most of the week out and about, and the drinks + food caught up to me. Goal is to get back under 216 before next tuesday when I start a 7 week bootcamp/training regimen. EDIT: Weigh in 217.1

down another two pounds...

and i found out that my scale was off; it reads about 10 pounds on the heavy side.
so my current weight on this scale is 270, is really closer to 260... so yeah, ten pounds down in about a hour, j/k

i almost did 30 miles yesterday... it started as a 40 mile ride, with an option to do 30. but it got too dark and too late at 27.7 miles, with about 11 to the finish, so i got a friend to pick me up...

goals for this week is to simply keep it up, and push my self to do longer distances more frequently...

Down one more pound to 197. Stuck to my goals for the most part. Managed 4 out of 5 days commuting last week and a decent Saturday ride for a total of 145 miles for the week.

Getting down to my target of 190ish and this thread does help so thanks missbumble for maintaining it

Managed to get back into some training after last week's illness write off (weekend of stomach bug turned into week of cold - head then chest). Still coughing up the odd interesting critter, but lungs were the better for the ride up the Peak yesterday AM and even better this morning.

Goal 90kg, Started year at 100kg.

This week 94kg (207.5lb)

Aim for this week? Continue to train at steady pace. Looking for sub 94kg next week.

Went to LBS for a couple of things and saw the 90kg dream bike (for when I'm 90kg, not the bike!) and played with it a bit. Managed to wipe up the drool quickly before sales guy saw it. Giant TCR Advanced with Ultegra. Getting closer...

OK I should post - weight was 178.5 (not good). This week I have been better - and trying to do Core exercises in addition to the stationary bike. They are boring and painful - but relly what will make me healthier. So wish me luck! Also been depressed a tad lately and that has not helped.

Goal:
Stationary Bike - 30 min Monday, 1 hour Tuesday, 1 hour Wednesday
Bike Ride: 100 or 80 miles on Saturday - Tony Serrano Ride; Recovery Ride or Brewery on SUnday
Core work: Monday, Tuesday, Wed, Thursday

Drink more water, write assessments, keep spirits up!

I'm soooo glad I'm no longer a teacher. Writing reports at the end of each term had me skipping the water and going right for the hard stuff! Good Luck!

The Oldest Princess (softball and voleyball player) and I find this to be a great core workout.

Weight this week has been far bouncier than usual. 217.3 Monday, 215.9 Tuesday, 215.3 Wednesday, (Forgot Thursday), 214.3 today. I'm off to travel, dine and drink, so I'll probably end the week around Monday's, but man, what a weird week with the scale.

Count me in.

Hi, My name is Eric and I a Clyde...

Oh! we don't have to start that way. Ok, Well I would like to be one of the biggest losers. I am currently sitting at 361.2, down from 367.4 last Saturday, My Max, I think was about a year ago when I weighed 392.5. Don't think I ever hit 400 but with the calorie intake that I had and the fluctuations in mydiet, you never know. I never saw 400 in the scale, so it didn't exist and I don't want it to! I actually got down to 348 last summer but put on some winter weight. But I was actually able to notice, stop and happilly reverse the trend this time. It's a small step, but for me, catching it before it spiraled out of control is a major benchmark. Also, how does it work, is it a sunday to sunday thing, post when you want? Finally, my goal is 225. At 6' with a strong build, 225 is as low as I want to be.

Your's in weight control,

Eric...
