Is it supposed to hurt when you Cycle
I did a 15 mile route here in Clarksville TN with one of our friends. For the first time since I started back on a bike (6-8 weeks ago) I actually had to get off the bike and walk a Hill. Elevation image link below is the route we took and the 2nd hill was hit in wrong gears. we came to a dead stop almost immediatly. Also ended up tweaking my leg a little. Hoping to get out for a 15-20 mile ride tonight to try work it out but who knows.

It should hurt when you push yourself, you will end up a little sore.
It shouldn't hurt in weird places (wrists, hands, back), but may as you adjust. It shouldn't (once you're adjusted and on a well-fitting bike) hurt when you go for an easy ride.
It should hurt (legs, lungs, whathaveyou) when you push yourself, and you should expect to be sore after hard riding.
You should be careful about a "tweaked" leg, as that could be an injury that can be aggravated by further effort. The last thing you want to do is hurt yourself and take yourself off the bike for weeks in order to get a ride in a day sooner.

*grin* then I definatly pushed myself yesterday, My legs are a little sore (but good sore from the workout) and thankfully I had no numbness I believe(I adjusted my seat as I think I was trapping the perineal nerve). I have been keeping an eye on the numbness thing and it is second ride without. I did notice Im moving and trying to make sure butt bones are on saddle well.
I think its a minor tweak and may just be caused by tired legs. If we do ride tonight it will be an easy 15 mile route (I cant cycle till 6 weekdays and thats max we can get before it gets too dark) that is pretty flat execpt for a couple of easy hills.
Thanks for the advice I especially dont want to nerf myself as I have a event I signed up for on May 9th (its only 32 miles but at moment its more than I have cycled in one day)
