Did a flat trail ride, 37 miles today but it hurt! Ran inot TerBennet at the start. Didn't ride together cause we headed different directions, just some bike talk. I did run into a few forum members along the way. PinoyBentrider and his buddy. Had to turn back and chase them down for an action pic. Then I had to chasedown Gina. SHe says she was going slow but it took a while. I'm getting old I guess!

After some talk at the coast I headed back with a couple of BF.net hotshots on fancy bikes! Prolene and a Jeff. Gina said go with them and we'd meet up down the trail. I did and wow! I was doing a pull at 27 mph and ended up getting dropped. It was fun, guys were fast but I knew it so it was a good workout!

Later I slowed to wait for Gina. She was carrying 20 mph on her own for a while. I thought I'd get a break but she kept the pace up and punished my arse real good! What's going on here? everyone was out to torch me today! SO we catch up to one of the guys stopped at a park, refill then head off together. Darn Gina takes his wheel then they punish me somemore! It was fun!

Nice pics as always Mr. Beanz!! I had a good ride down to the beach. I didn't catch up to Jackie until I reached the rest point in Huntington Beach. Anyway, I saw this Athena riding by me as I was loading my bike after returning. When I went up to her to tell promote the forum and I discovered it was Condorita!! It was great to meet her! She's a really nice person. Also, I had a chance to chat with your buddy on the Specialized test bike down in HB also. Today, I will be riding since I commited myself to riding to and from work this week. What was I thinking? Yesterday was HOT!! Today through Wednesday is supposed to be even hotter! We really need a break from these temps. Call me a whiner but when it's 105 degrees in April by my house, I'm not too happy. Then again, you aren't complaining and the IE is a little hotter. Anyway, hope to see you and Gina out there again this weekend. It's supposed to cool off a little. You two never cease to amaze me!!
