Your not biking and your Jeep is apart?

We had one day of snow, here in Northern Virginia and I got rear ended. The jeep was a real rust bucket and the hit bent the frame and got the body out of whack - with insurance money I got frame and tub in good shape and "all" I have to do is to swap it:D No time to bike, time to wrench:)

Handy man to have around the house! I'd have no trouble ripping a bike apart and putting it back together but a car? no way. good luck with it:)

It is the same as bike - take it apart, put it back together:D

I suppose its just a matter of confidence and practice. I really need my car though;)

many people just grow up doing this stuff. ie most people that do this kind of work can do it because it never occured to them that they didn't know how to.

that engine hoist is SWEET :)... had one similar to it and used it a good bit...

friend of mine has an early 60's jeep (a REAL jeep as he calls it) in his garage... and another 6 or 7 pulled apart in the back yard ... the one in the garage is ALMOST done... very nice looking... just looking for the right body at the right price... just a matter of waiting for another good hurricane to hit... (apparently he's one of the few guys that can tell the gov. or pres that it is in fact a natural disaster haha)...

I thankfuly got out of cars for a while... can't afford more then one hobby at a time.
