My new ride!

Just picked it up today! Trek 7.3 fx. Only extras are the Shimano clipless pedals. I've only put a couple of miles on her so far but she's quick, light, and very fun to ride!

Great. I had the Trek 7200, it was a nice Clyde bike and gave me a couple years of service. Trek makes strong stuff.

I had a chance to get out and play a little more today. Not for long only about half an hour. The bike is comfortable, quick, gear pretty well (I'd like closer steps living in flat IN.), and fun to ride. The gears still need to be dialed in. I have some rubbing in back when on the middle ring and had a missed front shift, but all in all I likey! I need to put a rack on it yet, and some sort of trunk then I'm mostly happy. Now if I could just get rid of that Uber-geek front plastic chain guard.

OMG what a nice bike!!!!!!

You might want to put that century off for a year. If I learned anythign with my body transformation it is to have patience and and many short term goals.

You will love the 7.3FX. I have a 06 7.2 FX and it has never missed a beat.
