I started trying to lose weight shortly after new years, I imediately cut out soda's and junk food for snacks. I started walking with as much jogging inbetween as I could handle after a couple weeks of 4 times a week of that I got out the bike and started doing some riding on the weekends. eventually i joined the ymca and started a spin class, after a few weeks of doing both running and spin i joined the master swim program and doing 3500 yards of laps 2 to 3 times a week. at this point my schedule is as follows.
monday : swim 1 hour 3500 yards
tuesday : spin class 1 hour
wednesday : swim 1 hour 3500 yards
thursday : run 3 miles
friday : swim 1 hour 3500 yards
saturday : bike ride 30 miles followed up by 2 to 3 mile run
sunday: typically take off
doing this so far in roughly 4 months i have lost 30 lbs.
now I am 5' 8" tall I am 36 yrs old
I am hoping to get down 20 more lbs possibly by mid summer
just wondering if anyone has any advise on what I might try doing to lose weight quicker
right now a typical day consists of cereal for breakfast, mid morning snack is a banana lunch anything from sandwich or salad or healthy choice lunch.
dinner is something good chicken steak fish with potato or rice. usually after a workout.
I recently started using hammer nutrition recoverite after my workouts too.
