Cannondale Cyclocross for Clyde...

I am looking to buy a Cannondale CX (cyclocross) for fitness purposes. The bike will be used 95% of time on city roads. I weigh in at 300lbs. One bike is the Cannondale Cyclocross 5 and the 2nd the Cyclocross 6. The CX5 has has a 16 spoke front wheel and 20 spoke rear wheel, where as the CX6 has a 32 spoke front and rear wheel. Would the CX5's wheels be able to hold up to my weight? I figured from reading this thread the CX6 would have no problems because of the 32 spoke wheel.

I am also considering a Cannondale Bad Boy disc or the Cannondale Synapse 5, but the Cross bike is my 1st preference.
