If I wasn't across the country, I would!

I'm doing my Tour de Cure century in 2 days... on my fixed gear!
The TdC is a really fun event: well organized, usually good routes which are well marked, and the people riding in it are typically there to have fun.

You'll have a blast!

good luck and have fun :)... just did my ride a few weeks ago (100k was longest thy offered) was a big accomplishment for me and my 300# self... one of these years I think i'll just have to hop from town to town doing these rides... there was a guy/team doing just that... willing to bet he'll be at yours

wish I had some $$$ to pass along but sadly being out of work for 4 months hurt the budget a lot haha... again good luck and enjoy the ride :)

Awwww. Thanks! It's a great cause and I am sooo looking forward to my first event like this - a big fundraising ride. I never did MS150 cause I was afraid to raise money for it. (Another great cause ofcourse).

Many many thanks!

So you'll be in Chicago and Atlanta; want to stop by Indy and join Tom Stormcrow and I (and a few other folks) and do the Tour de Cure in Indy? Such a great ride and a great cause.

Good luck,

D

HI Guys!! Thanks for your donations. I did the 62 miler -as it was forecasted to rain - and I had ridden in the rain for the last few weeks and feared getting water logged. That said - I had my best time ever!! 15.2 mph. It was an awesome day-- a great ride!!!

My first 50 miler - I remember going home and nearly fainting..Today I came home with a ton of time on my hands (having not done the 100) and have been cleaning the apt...So I think I must be in better shape - plus it was not 95 degrees.... but still..

OK Thanks again!!

Great job! Knocking off 62 miles like it's nothing is a clear sign that you are in good shape. That 15.2 avg with energy to spare pretty much proves it.
