My New Project One

For those who say nice bikes made of carbon are for the skinnies I say no way. Will brinig this home tommorow after my fitting appointment. Has Sram Force, Race X Lite wheels, putting the Garmin 705 on it. I am in love. I realize it's not everyones cup of tea but it tastes good to me.

That is sweet, is that a framed Giro de Italia leaders jersey on the wall? That is sweet too.

The jersey was given to my dealer from Cannondale. It is from the 2003 Giro, actually signed by eventual winner of 2003 Giro Gilberto Simoni.

Did you custom order your beautiful bike? If so, how long between placing the order and delivery? However long it was... it certainly looks worth the wait to me.

It was a custom order direct with Trek. It can be done with any 5 series and up Madone took 28 days from time of order till it arrived at shop. If you go to Trek website just look for Project One banner and you can build your own.

Two thumbs up for having Personal Disposable Income.
Enjoy what looks like a sweet ride!
It's funny to see the "Burning Addiction" and then read about your "dealer".

My bike isn't ~quite~ up to your standards but it was top of the line that Specialized offered in a women's bike in 2006. It was the best fitting bike in the store and had the frame geometry I prefer.
