Road ID

I'm sure many of you have seen or heard about Road ID by now. A thread in the Northern California forum reminded me that I've been planing to get one, since I do ride alone quite a bit, and wanted something that would be more likely to stay on me in the event of an accident.

Anyone, have one on order, and got a coupon to pass on, so here it is, up for grabs to my fellow clydes and athenas. According to the email I received its good until June 17, for up to 20 items.

Jax - the interactive model stores you data on a website which allows you to change all of the info at any time. The first year is included in the price. Because I am at a transient stage in my life (I will be moving several times over the next year or two) the interactive made sense to me.

Yea, I thought about that, but I'm cheap , and paying a year fee not something I want to do being recently unemployed and all. My old one is 4 years old, so I figure the original $19 paid for itself pretty good and a replacement was only $16 and I have had my cell numbers for 5 years now.

Yeah...like I said, I'll be moving several times in the next few years, and I don't want my cell number on it 'cause the cell phone comes with me on rides.

Which reminds me...program an ICE into the cell phone, too.
