I got the short end of the stick
Yesterday, after work, my wife and I were discussing our commutes. (we both rode yesterday) I told her how I got screamed at by a passing car load of teenage girls who I think were trying to scare me. She laughed and said that she got whistled at by some guy at a fast food drive in that she was passing. Now I admit, she is a little, ok a lot, easier on the eyes than I am. But is it too much to ask that I get some appreciation? The only positve feedback I've gotten since I started riding to work was "dude, you got some big calves." and this was from one of the guys... Sorry, just feeling a little sorry for my self and I thought I would share it for your amusement.

It's all in your mind. Those girls were probably screaming because they were overcome with passion. It's a good thing they zipped on by, or they might have tackled you right there.

I was on a charity ride in Michgan with my bro-in-law who is a Michigan State alumni. During the ride, all the cute young (college) girls kept yelling insults at me. I was begiining to wonder why all the hotties kept yelling "Old Farty" whenever we would ride by. Was it some sort of local thing? I was beginning to get really upset -- I'm still only 49!!
Well, being the dummy that I am, I found out they were cheering on my bro-in-law who was wearing his green MSU Spartan jersey. "Go Spartie" sounds alot like "Old Farty"!!
