Bought a sadle seat from Walmart...
Bought a sadle seat from walmart. All good, use to have one before. I took it apart though without making sure I knew how to put it back together. Now its in pieces and I have no idea how to assemble it.
Here is a picture of it and the parts..if anyone has any idea. I've been google searching for an hour and can't find anything

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Go back to Walmart with your camera and take a pic of an assembled one. Use the cellphone cam if necessary. The seatpost collar will mount on the rails, though and be stabilized by the bolt. Best I can tell you.

First look at your seatpost, if it has a clamp attached at the top, you do not need the clamp that comes with the saddle. The rails go into the clamp that is part of the seat post. If it's just a straight metal tube or a metal tube that gets smaller at the end, you do.
Here is what you do, flip the saddle over, have a look at the largest piece your left with it should be roughly a U shape, if you look there should be a shape at one side of the U that roughly fits between the rails, put this over the rails, and put the bolt through the hole through the piece, add one of the flat pieces so that it grips the rail and add the nut, just put the nut on enough that it grips the thread. Do the other side the same. Put it over the end of the seat post. Now turn the nut on one side a full turn, then do the other side, keep switching back and forth until it firms up. Check the saddle for tilt and whether it's lined up with the top tube. Now tighten the nuts until everything is as tight as possible.
It's harder to describe then it is to do. Often that metal tube seat post is chromed mild steel, they are very heavy, but very strong and sturdy.

I actually stripped those off a saddle I purchased yesterday (look how shiny and new the parts are) so I could use it with my micro adjust seat post. It was in the garage about ten feet from my computer desk so I figured "what the heck". It took less time than to type it out to explain it.
