    Current Weight this AM 288
    Goal Two Lbs

    My screen name is bad Greek-aletheia is the Greek word for truth, only I never knew the correct spelling, so its been Alathea for years now on the net.

    P90X all days this week (or as much as I can-my wife works and I have all the kids, so I work out during nap times)

    I start riding to work again on Friday since the kids are out of school Thursday. Mileage goal 20 miles for this week.

    OK - Back in Chicago after weekend with family in FL. We had a 50th Annniversary BarBQue for my fabulous parents...OOOh here I am cutting the cake! No calories in that at all. (weight since it's the Biggest Loser Forum is likely about 175 and I am shooting to settle at 145 and no longer be an official Athena....)

    Well I did not weigh myself this morning in FLA and will do so when I get back to ATL Thurday...Not my best week - but not my worst. Seems when I am with my family my eating is not so good. I worked out every day though.

    This week - Drink lots of water and a stay away form candy like starbursts on people's desks.
    Mon eve - Subway
    Tues - Workout on Bike & eat Subway (look out Jared)
    Wed - Workout on Bike or do a walking tape & eat Subway
    Thursday - Workout on Bike
    Friday - Pack for BRAG!
    SAT - BRAG - Week long ride across GA.

    219 lbs. this morning.

    Goals for the week:
    Eat 2190 calories a day
    Get plenty of rest every night - I have trouble making myself go to bed sometimes
    Take vitamins everyday
    Make time for breakfast
    Long ride on the weekend
    Log at least 140 miles this week

    Workout Plan:
    Monday: P90X
    Tuesday: 30 mile ride
    Wednesday: P90X + 20 mile ride
    Thursday: 30 mile ride
    Friday: P90X + 15 mile ride
    Saturday: 45 mile ride
    Sunday: Rest day Recovery spin ride maybe 5-10 miles nice and easy

    That is the plan and hopefully next Monday the scale will be friendly

    216. I'm going to count calories , bump up the mileage and do my best to make Clyde Emeritus by mid-summer.

    Re-post from last weeks thread. Wheels installed and getting ready to head out on my first bike commute in 3 1/2 years.

    Well, met one out of three goals. I worked out all 5 days in our gym at the office. Goal two - lose 3 lbs was missed by 3 1/2 lbs as I GAINED a 1/2 of a lb. Bummer, diet is to blame as the weekend was filled with graduation parties. Wheelset isn't being delivered until today, but TONIGHT they get put on and I'm back in the saddle.

    Goals for this week will again be to lose three lbs, Ride 50 miles and workout all 5 workdays.

    I forgot to post last week. That may have been a good thing with all the Memorial Day eating and what not. Anyway that is in the past and this is a new week. With my official weigh in yesterday, I was down to 188 from my starting weight on Feb 2 of 209.

    Still doing lots of riding and trying to stay away from the candy, cookies, donuts etc. I am also doing some running (2 -3 times a week) and swimming (3 times a week) as I have a triathlon scheduled for July 12th.

    ok goals for this week

    Try lose 2-3lbs at least and get to 265lbs
    try cycle at least once this week (trying to line a 30 mile ride for after work)
    try to ride a 50-60 mile this weekend in preparation for 1st official metric century.
    work on setting up new saddle properly (Specialized avatar gel 155)
    tweak FD to resolve rough gear transition
    replace handlebar tape with white bontrager gel/cork with extra gel inserts for below tape (same color as seat and help with pinkie numbness on longer rides)

    307.5 this week. I keep bouncing around the 300 mark. I really need to get serious about this. That being said, I am riding every chance I get.

    Thursday - Workout on Bike Ok this is what i wanted to report. I usually do intervals on stationary bike at 80-100 rpm level 8 -12. Today I decide to ride steady at level 12,13 and 15 at 90-100. Well i did some intervals satrtng at level 12 stayed about 90-100+ the whole time (fell back in 80s a bit but mostly 90-100...and ended up with 1hr 18.5 miles. That is huge!!!!! I guess the moral is do we really know what we are capable of?? I was back at 8-12 for weeks/months and then just kicked it up a big notch! Trianing for BRAG so wanted to hit it hard.


    Had some popcorn this week - otherwise did a ton better!
    Friday - Pack for BRAG!
    SAT - BRAG - Week long ride across GA.

    Well all goals met for this week including bike work. only thing left to do is untape and retape one side as I left a slight gap on one side (too much angle and didnt realise) weight loss for the week was 4lbs so down to 264lbs.

    Well, 287. I only dropped 1 lb, but I also didnt P90 or get my ride in starting on Friday. I had some bike issues over the weekend to address as well, BUT I rode in this morning-5.9 miles in 35 minutes after not riding since last fall. This next week should look pretty good.

    298.8 today.....down about 13# or so since last Monday. Some of it water I'm sure but that's alright, I was a bit puffed anyway.

    Hope to take off a more modest amount this week, 3-4 pounds.
