Goal for this week is to try continue to lose 1-3 lbs. Not sure if its going to happen feel like I may gain 1 or 2.
Clipless pedals are now installed so goal is to ride a couple of times and not fall on my ass *LOL*

Im on vacation this week so Im going to try to ride every day. I started today by commuting into work, and then I have Wed-Monday off. The weather looks good, so I should be in good shape.

259 1/2! Made it to the 250s (barely). Down from a start of 273. I really thought I would have a gain this week after a three day weekend of still more eating and drinking. A 1 lb loss is acceptable! Commuted 3 of 5 days and worked out all 4 times. No long rides this week as we were out of town. Got to get the miles in this week.

With yet ANOTHER long holiday weekend I've got to work on leveling out the consumption on the weekends. I'm setting a goal of three pounds weight loss this week to try to focus myself on diet.

50 miles is another stretch goal that I'm shooting for this week.

Mike sounds as if we are in same boat. I seem to gain weight over the weekend then lose it during the week. That plus we are both officially at 259 *LOL*. You are however getting more cycling than I seem to be able to. Hoping to get some seious riding in this holiday weekend.

Sorry for the late entry!

Still hovering at the 93-94kg mark.

Up and down with the food discipline. Missed a couple of workouts because of coaching commitments.

had a bad week eating wise. worked a lot in yard but got on bike for a 26 mile hilly route (THe natchez trace) Weighed in Saturday at 259-260 so will call it a zero loss +1 gain and see what happens next Sunday. Goal is to be as good as possible all week (after I get groceries im out of everything at home!!!!!)

I pretty much fell off the wagon in June. I still managed to lose about 4 pounds, but I've only ridden the bike sparingly. I plan to push through July though. Wish me luck.

261 1/2. Oh well I knew this was going to happen sooner or later with the bad diet I've been partaking in. Another long summer weekend with cookouts, wine and beer. I had LOTS of fun. Really nice weekend with family and friends.

Went on a 35 mile bike ride on the W&OD with my wife yesterday, so I definitely met my mileage and workout goals for the week. I feel much fitter than I have in years. I felt like I could go a lot further yesterday (despite the sore butt!). I ran on the treadmill this morning and felt very strong.

The scale really disappointed me though. I know it's only a number and I shouldn't stress about it but I am VERY depressed at a 2 lb. weight gain.

Oh well, back to the drawing board, nose to the grindstone, time to get to work!!!

Mike

I have fallen off the wagon as well. I guess I am stayng the same - 173.5. I have ok days and bad days. What is saving me is that I work out and ride. I am not feelinglike restricting much these days. Hopefully that will change. I would say I am a tad depressed.... and just not willing. In any case...I do sometimes follow the right path and am not in full scale binge mode. so that is good.

Hang in there everyone... Sue
