OK things have been rough lately - This week I have a bazillion events! So i think I will rely on working out. But for me it has always been more about the food -so I know I am in trouble...need to hit Subway a bunch, but have plans every night this week to eat out. Maybe I can ocnvinvmy friend tomorrow toforgo eating out? He is visitng me in chicago from ATL. Our plan is to ride a tandem and then dinner...maybe I cnconvine him to pick up Subway????

Weight is up! 177 maybe so time to take better care.

Sue

Drink Water - work out.
Hit Subway or salads as much as possible.

Also waiting to here back on an offer I made on a short sale. I may actually have bought a huge town home in Atlanta.

Another busy week for me. Did great with my training plan and with the diet plan. Although I need to pay more attention to portions on the the diet. I gained 1 lb this week, but my fitness has seen significant improvement. I rode 4 days out of 7, for a total of 144.86 km (90mi) and I did 1 race.

Current weight: 222 lbs
Goal for this week: 2 lbs and improve on my diet portions

Goal for this week - Get a couple of bike rides in - try to get at least 50 miles this week. I want to ride as much as possible but we head to knoxville TN this weekend (with bikes though).
Weigh in on Sat was 249 but I think I gained a few pounds after the weigh in and over the weekend so I am setting goal for this week to be 248lbs a modest loss of 1lb but would be happy to get back to 249lbs again. Weigh in will be monday am as I am out of town this weekend.

Going to be a hard week as the weather is bad and I probably won't get any rides in. Hitting the gym, but it's not the same.

Concentrating on more water. Doing salads for lunch.

Today 93.5kg. Want to be 93 next week.

Great week of workouts and rides - 80 miles. Gained 1 1/4 lb though :( I'm still feeling great at 255! I know it's water weight as I have been feeling bloated (it's beer weight too:p) Had a cookout and went to the Paul McCartney show Saturday night (Awesome, Awesome show)

This week same as always - commute to work, work out and ride, ride, ride.

Good week last week. I'm riding more and eating better. I'm growing to love Lean Cuisine Dinners.
Weight 309- I've lost 47 pounds so far. My goal is to lose to 185 (we all can dream right?). I'm back up to 8 miles per day. I was only cleared to resume riding last week. I'm shooting for 305 by Monday.

OKHow do you do it...one little Lean Cuisine??? I feel cheated and deprived when I have them? Do you pair anything with the Lean Cuisine? Or do I just need to "get used to it". I am intoQUantity - so Ineed to perhaps eat smaller portions.

Hi All, I know its not Monday; but....

I ran across this thread a few weeks ago and have been following it. Seems like a great place to get some more motivation. I have been doing the YoYo thing for a long time and really hope I can stick with my plan. I am one that tends to work my arse off to reach a goal and once the goal is reached I find myself slipping back into the trap. Anyhow two years ago I was successful at losing over 70lbs and doing a century with Team in Training. It was one of the best things I had ever done in a long time.

I'm back now after over a year and a half of sitting on my butt again and I gained back most if not all of my previous phat. I have been back on the bike for three weeks now and have lost around ten pounds I guess. This thread will help me be better at tracking and being accountable.

I knew I was back into the "phat seat" in April of this year when I got on a roller coaster ride in San Diego, CA and had to be "shoe-horned" into the front car so I could ride the ride. How embarrassing. I was nearly 280 then and when I got back home from that trip I started cutting back and increasing my activity again. I have lost a little weight since then, but I'm hoping by getting back on the bike I will lose it a bit quicker.

My short term goal is to complete the Seagull Century in October and hopefully be around 245-250lbs by then.

Current Weight is 261 this morning

Monday update: Super excited! I hit my goal of 2 lbs loss. I changed my intensity on the rides and started riding longer, I think it worked perfectly. Rode 4 days out of seven for a total of 243km (151mi). Didn't race this week.

Current Weight: 220#
Goal for next week: 2# loss

donhaller 08-10-09 07:28 AM

I rode almost 100 miles last week, and 46 on Saturday but didn't lose anything since I weighed myself in the middle of the week last week. I weighed myself after the ride and was down about a pound or so, but that was back this morning when I weighed in.

Current Weight: 261
Week goal: -2

scotlandtb 08-11-09 07:12 AM

got my riding in last week but think diet was messed up. Gained 6lbs *sigh* I hate weeks like last week but hopefully it will help me for the next while. My problem is at moment our weekends are go go go so I am unable to track my input.
