I looked at my log today and I hit 273 with today's ride. With 10 days left I may set a personal best of 400 plus miles in a month. I am getting stronger because the circuit I ride the hills are getting a little easier to climb. Up until this month, and I have only been riding since November, I have been hit or miss on getting out and riding. I try to get one complete rest day a week (age 56, the old legs need it) and try to push myself at least 2 times. Most of my rides now are 20+ rides where it used to be where 10 was my max. I am not trying to brag on myself but just reporting how extremely pleased with my effort this month. I hit an all time max weight in April of 266 (6'0"). Today I weighed in at 253. I appreciate this forum in keeping me motivated and encouraged.
