First half-century done...
Wow what a difference gear made. I was riding on a brooks gel seat 2 weeks ago and my butt hurt way too much to go past 40 miles. Love my new B17 and after I arrived home at 54 miles in 3:47 I felt I could probably do 10 more at least.
So I'm down from 328# to almost 300# now.
Guess 3/4 century is next.

Congrats, 50 miles is a big step.
I did my first one without realizing it. Got home and mapped it out and found out I went 52 miles. I have a ride my age ride coming up on the 29th. Seems it's going to cover a big hunk of Houston (for only 51 miles). Some guys from BF here will be coming along. It'll be fun.
