Tuesday 8/25...Did You Ride??

I got in 40 miles. Upland up to the Devore Area (Glen Helen/Blocbuster Pavillion). Started a little later so finished the ride at 12:30 in the afternoon. Weather people say it's 91 here in the Inland Empire. Felt nice to me, maybe it was the wind?

Out in the middle of nowhere, another reason I don't drop my head when I get tired!

Eat jalapenos responsibly. You better check your pepper habit if it's affecting your bills!

Got in one of my usual 18 mile weekday rides. No climbing to speak of, but it keeps the legs in spinning mode. May get in a longer (around 30 mile) tomorrow or thursday with a bit of climbing.

13.5 miles in the dark/rain to work this morning. Another 13.5, daylight/no rain, to get back home.
My legs, feet and backside feel ok after the 24.5hr pedalfest this weekend, but my shoulders have something funky going on; dead center just below my neck feels weird. Almost like there's a fluid buildup, but there's nothing there.

Gotta tinker with the bar adjustments before the next long ride.

10 minutes on the stationary bike at the gym. Does that count?

That's a classic pic Beaner. Did you hop over those sand bags?

Looks like a good chance to practice cyclocross barriers and remounts.

Daily commute, 10 miles one way. Came home in semi-darkness, and had a chance to see how well the front light is working. Need to re-aim it, but other than that it was fine.

A little over 10 miles here with the GF...she heads off to college friday so I figured we needed to squeeze a ride in. Would have been longer, but I work evenings. Not enough hours in the day!

Impatiently awaiting my Park PCS-9 stand...Got an older bridgestone road bike to replace chain and cables on. Most likely make it a flat handled road bike, as well (I hate drops) Miss riding skinny tires since getting rid of my allez last year!
