Ferrets & Greyhounds

Ok, I've seen on several threads the skinny ones called Ferrets or Greyhounds..

But if one of these skinny bikers is a machocist, would that make them a Whippet?

Greyhounds are bred for high speed and light weight.

They can be adopted once their racing career is over, or found at the road bike forum.

I'm lost on the ferret analogy.

Ahhh...

The ferret is the lone rider that goes off the front with the peloton (of grayhounds) in pursuit.

I have a greyhound, she doesn't like bikes very much. The wheels scare her.
