They made me do it!!!

Yup, they did. Those nasty lil'buggers made me go ride. Who are they? The weasely-good cinnamon rolls our local health food store carries. Dang things snuck 4lbs on me in the past 2 weeks.

Ok, so maybe I had a hand (or fork) in it.

So the guilt of those treats prompted me to ride today, even though I wasn't feel'n it. Afterwards it wasn't so bad. 27 miles. 2000' climbing (max 11% grade) and upped my average speed from Thursday's (same loop).

Why is it so hard to get motivated to go ride sometimes, even though you usually feel so good afterwards?

The mere thought of buying the next pant size up yet again is motivation enough for me to keep riding!

Ah yes, the dreaded pant size increase. That is a motivator as well. It's just getting over that first "aww do I wanna go" reaction. Once on the bike it's all good.
