A fine way to spend a Monday afternoon
Took a half day vacation and did a ride I found on Bikely called the "Blue Ridge Challenge" out of Marshall, VA.
The climb at mile 25 made me rethink what I should be doing on my days off!!! Awesome scenery though!!! Horse and country club country for the well to do I thinks. And yes, I need to remember to bring a camera.

Congrats, Herbie. I've done that ride a bunch of times. When I do it the "reverse" direction (i.e. Naked Mountain and then Blue Ridge Mt. Road) I love to stop at the little country store in Bluemont and sit in the sun. Maybe it will be nice enough on Sunday to do it again. I haven't tried those steep hilly sections since getting my new "climbing" bike....

I put a 12-27 on before this and was still missing my compact crank on the mile 25 climb!!!
