Is there any drawbacks for a clyde getting a SL3? I m just curious about this particular Specialized bike.

As long as it fits you, no. Just take the wheels in after a couple hundred miles or so and have them retensioned and you should be happy.

Great bikes, very stiff which is not such a bad thing for a clyde. Had a demo this past spring, put about 200km on it. Very nice bike just didn't fit me very good, felt alright while riding it but paid for it after.
