looking for a few things...
a nice set of handle bars that have a rise and bit of a sweep and also a nice seat. being a big guy i would like to know of anything that would hold up.

Back at ya. I remember, the old school H/D Mountain. Upswept bars are significant improvement for many individuals, including me. The more bend, the better in some cases... www.jensonusa.com a sponcer here has bars. A few are on sale or listed as "Hot Deals" or closeouts, quite reasonable. Other places; Nashbar, Performance or ... www.universalcycles.com
Saddles are "personal". WTBs have their fans, I have one I bought used, my nephew likes it, he hates everything. Avoid those that appear super posh. You'd be surprised how the not so comfy looking ones can be strong and not AX-Like.
Even big guys don't like saddles with wider fronts, they rub the thighs. Widish backs are OK and avoid the long-nose ones, All just my observations.
Remember, last years "best" saddle can be THIS years sale Item (avoid stitching)
