18 years since last road bike ride
I'm weighing in at about 260, and finally ready to get to work.
My mountain bike with street tires just wasn't calling me to ride, so for my 40th B-Day I picked up a left-over 2008 KHS Flite 220 from the LBS. It's entry level, but it felt better to me than some of the more expensive bikes.
I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone in the future.

When I returned to road bikes after a 30 year hiatus, it felt pretty strange at first. I picked up a Schwinn Le Tour GS (similar to what you have) and enjoyed the heck out of it. After a year or so I moved on to a better road bike and the Schwinn is now my commuter. I love the feel of skinny tires under my not-so-skinny rear.

Look at it this way: Entry level now is like top-of-the-line a few years ago. I'm sure it's a FINE bike.
