Former Clyde rides with Lance Armstrong (not that former clyde)

I didn't get quite the experience Fatty did, but I did manage to get some photos with Team RadioShack and even got to ride with the for 10 miles or so. At one point Lance Armstrong was on my wheel.

Here is a photo with Lance

It was a pretty awesome experience. If you want to read more about it or see more photos with other RadioShack guys, check out my blog post about it.

As it turns out, he's a pretty nice guy, too, huh? I got to ride with him a few years ago, and we had a nice chat at Race to Replace in Indianapolis during the big public ride he led off.......

We basically had a multiecheloned paceline of 1500 riders at one point that day, too, and it was a fun day.
on light duty due to illness; please contact my assistants for forum issues. They are Siu Blue Wind, or CbadRider or the other 3 star folk. I am currently at home recovering from a couple of strokes. I am making good progress, happily.

Very nice. Pity that AP considers Tiger Woods Athlete of the Decade instead of Lance. :-(

It's amazing what a brush with mortality can do to a man, isn't it? :-)

He does seem like a genuinely nice guy. He was pretty much all business that morning. It is interesting to see how many different directions people try pulling him in. by far the most down-to-earth guy out there was Chris Horner. He was awesome.

I tracked down a few photos of me in the group.

I 'm toward the right 1/3 of the image in the yellow and back. I a following Jani Brajkovic and Chris Horner.

At one point Lance Armstrong was on my wheel.
He was sucking wind as he tried to stay on my wheel, going up the final ascent of the day. The last I saw of Lance he was fading backwards, in a bit of bother.

There I finished this properly for you

But Tiger does good deeds. Right now he's helping Santa Claus. He's been finding all the women who are naughty. :-)

Actually, more than half of his votes came in after the news of his infidelity broke. I'm sure most of the voters also happen to be men.

Hmm. Tiger has something that Lance lacks. Pity so many men think with them.
