Clipless Ride and No Falling! but was it 23.5 or 25.0 Miles???
Thanks everyone for the tips on getting my cleats installed 'right'. I had been riding on my trainer and decided to take it outside today for the first time in several weeks. This was my first time riding clipless since I first got my bike and tried Look Keo pedals.
The good news is that I did not fall once!! I had fallen 2 or 3 times with the Looks but I was also really new to the bike so I can't blame the Look pedals. Over the past couple weeks while I was stuck inside, I was going back and forth between the two pedals trying to decide which to use.
I'm glad I used the mountain pedals since I had 2 flats near the end of my ride! (I only had one tube and no patches...my bad.) I had to walk the bike home for the last mile and a half. I can't imagine what that would have been like in those God awful road shoes!!
I like to think I've got an angel on my shoulder! Now, if only that angel could fix flats!
