Up .6 this week, to 201.5. Had a cold, didn't exercise as much. Had been eating mostly vegan, but did have some veggie pizza this past week. But still down about 20 lbs from the first of November.
Going to try and log more time of the Schwinn Airdyne this week, snow on the ground here. I WILL break through the 200 lbs barrier!

A nice, happy 185 again today. That marks the 4th straight day at that weight. The steady hold was a nice way to end the week because I fluctuated like crazy in the earlier part of it. I post this week only because of those fluctuations.

After last Monday morning's weigh-in, I decided to weigh myself each morning. Bad idea. I was a happy dude seeing myself weigh 185 lbs, for that original weigh-in. But, by Tuesday morning, I weighted 189 lbs. The 4 lbs gain completely freaked me out.

Luckly, I knew exactly what I did to cause the gain -- I ate a ton of carbs on Monday, preparing for a long hike on Tuesday morning. However, the dramatic weight gain caught my attention, made me begin to closely watch my caloric intake and output.

Basically: I ate moderately for the rest of that day. The next morning I weighed 187 lbs. With that success, I increased the intensity of my exercise routine and again ate moderate amounts of food: eating only one plate during my meals and going for the apple as a snack instead of pretzels or cashews. My reward the following morning, Thursday: Seeing the digits 1-8-5 on that pesky scale of mine. I have not seen any other digits since.

(Edit) Exercise for the week:
DAily hikes of 5 to 10 miles, minimum of twice a day.
DAily yoga and/or stretching routine (mostly a regular yoga routine plus a few dozen push-ups and situps)
Trainer ride of an hour or 2, 3 to 4 times per week -- can be high or low intensity.
Minimum of 2 to 3 hours of dancing
Misc errands and manual labor around the house or out on the property

The big KEY: NO TV!

280.2-lbs Down 2 pounds from last week. I plan to keep doing what I'm doing. Eating good & Exercising, I am happy with this weight loss and more importantly I feel about 10-years younger.

Sharing: Those peeps who are naturally thin frequently tell me that I obsess about this weight thing. For them, hopping on a scale every morning and consciously monitoring the result sounds insane. I almost bought into that...

Experience plus what I've been reading here at the Clyde/Athena thread has shown me that us who lean toward the "husky" side of things absolutely must pay attention to our bodies. Knowing what it weighs may not be a bad way to start the day.

I'm down to 220 from 230 at start of year. Have actually lost 11lbs as I gained a pound in there too. Plus I started my new me goal on Dec. 26th when I saw 240lbs on the scale so 20lbs of my weight loss goal is behind me, I would be extremly happy if I can do that two more times.

Last week I was at 212, this week 209. Rode 120 miles last week. Hope to do that again this week. Still haven't started the crunches. I will start those this week and maybe clean the detritus off the weight equipment and start working my arms some too.

273 - down 2 pounds from last week. Really stressed out over snowstorm this weekend, made some poor food choices -- especially regarding "road food".

Two pounds lost is not bad though...

221.8 this morning. It's coming off slowly, but it's coming off.

So far, I've lost two stone (and some pebbles...). I've lost an adverb as well. If you find "morbidly" somewhere roaming the streets, looking for its home, please turn it over to some well-meaning dictionary-maker; I find I have no further use for it.

321 this week. Almost no change from last week (down 1 lb maybe?). had a fun superbowl and an injury slowed me down. But I'll pick it up this week.

ok so I'm still at 212 this week (maybe 211, its hard to read the scale). While I'm glad my weight hasn't gone back up, I'd sure like to get down to 210 by the end of the week. I guess a few for minutes on the rower and stationary bike.

2010 Start:185.5
Week2 Start: 183.5(-2YTD)
Week 3: 184 (-1.5YTD)
Week 4 182.5 (-3YTD) Ran 8.25 miles on Saturday - WOW!!!!
Week 5: 181.5
Week 6:180 Really? So (-5.5 YTD) YAY ME!

Goals- Not trying to drastically reduce intake, but want to be more mindful. I need to adopt a healthier lifestyle to support a sexier Sue and the Triathlete in training. So Goals:
1) Drink more water!
2) Food while onthe road each week - Take guidance form coworker. We shop at market and get frozen dinner and microwave while on the road. Kind of like my Subway stops - but sharing a car - my coworkers liek the supermarket - so I am buying a lean Cuisine at 400 calories (the bigger ones) or eating at hotel -but hopefully this will helpme control qty amd what I eat at Concierge lounge.

3) Stick to modified Half Ironman Training this week:
Monday: So far did my Sunday long run Mon eve - 8.25 miles. Threw up afterwards Maybe I should ease up???
Tuesday: Plan: Bike at Y. Gym closed due to impending snow storm...so no workout.
Wednesday: Plan 5 mile run - Woke up and hit mini gym in hotel (Snow day here in Wilmington so Y is closed). Elliptical for 13 minutes then treadmill for 1 mile. Then walked a bit. May go down later and try again. Sad that I was unmotivated to go on....what is up with that???????????????????
Thursday: wake up and do somthing...Will Y be open????
Friday: Spin Class
Saturday: Long Ride 58 miles
Sunday: Long ARuan 8.25 miles

Okay, to keep myself honest...I was up from 211.5 to 216.5!

I had been fighting a cold and not following FItDay but jeez. I indulged in some 'stick to your ribs' kind of food this week (red beans and rice) but very very little junk food per se (maybe one small bag of chips during the superbowl). I'm back in the saddle now and hope to be able to ride some more soon too.

92 point something kg this morning post ride. (202-203lb) Probably a bit light due to hydration.

Lets see what it is tonight after the gym session (but before dinner).
