I rode my age this past weekend for my birthday - 56 miles (plus a few more to grow on)!
I enjoyed the ride a lot even though the wind averaged 20-25MPH. However, even though I wore good biking shorts, I ended up with a very chafed bottom. I guess my 250lbs were not supported well enough by my bike's relatively small seat. I have had no similar issues during shorter rides of 15-20 miles.
So, what suggestions are there to avoid/minimize such chafing when riding longer distances?
