125 lbs lost, time for my road bike!
I've been doing so much road riding lately, I've lost alot of weight, and my fitness level and health are amazing compared to being 400 lbs!
I went down to the local bike shop and had them order me a 2010 Trek Pilot 2.1 (55cm)
I can't wait!!! I'll post pics when I get it.
1,250$ at the bike shop, will be about 1,350$ out of the door after lovely california taxes...
Already I've ordered new helmet (giro stylus) and pedals (crank bros eggbeaters c).
I'm so excited!!! I'm taking it on a small little ride at the end of the month (tour de ed, 20 miles)
I remember hardly being able to ride around the block... now I giggle a little bit at the thought of 20 miles, that's a very doable number in my book, and now will be much easier on a road bike

Thank you all for the kind words.
When I get the new bike I'll make sure to post a before picture at 400+ lbs. and then me currently at 275 with the bike.
I'm as giddy as a school girl!!!

I already said congrates but those taxes don't seem to bad to me, in Ontario, Canada a $1250 bike would go out the door for $1412.50!

A few quick pictures.
My apologies, the bike is dirty, but that just means I was riding!
My egg beaters came in today so my mallets will go back on my specialized.
I'm in love with this bike, it's everything and more!
