Bull dog race

Just want to know if any clyds, in so. Cal. Thinking of entering the bull dog race on camp pendleton at the end of the month. Clydesdale class of course.

no will be my first race ever. just a lil worried about the one long climb. do you know how steep it is?

I was out of town. Didn't see your post until now.

I think it kicks up to 8-10%, but according to bike route toaster, the climb part is 3.17 miles, 503 ft of elevation gain. Can't be too bad, just pace yourself. It looks like it is steep at the beginning, then more gradual, the a steep part at the end.

There is a chance of rain now for Saturday morning, you going if it rains?

No problem. If you go to the course map, you can figure the streets enough to map the entire course on Bike Route Toaster or Map My Ride.

I will be there unless it is raining really bad and really cold. A little rain never hurt.

Looking at the results from last year, there were 27 Clydes. Should be a good time.
