calories during ride

I have a question for all you experienced clyds.jus want to no how many calories should i consume during my rides? During the week i go out for either a 26 or 40 mile ride. My problem is at the end of my rides i get cramps on my quads. I use to carry a couple bottle of cytomax but just switched to heed. Any good avice will help thx.


P.s. I'm 6'4" 260

Cramps are usually caused by a lack of electrolytes.

In terms of fueling your ride, the baseline recommendation is to consume around 250 calories/hr.
