SPD Shoes

I've had a pair of Shimano SPD shoes for awhile (size 48) and they are rubbing the right side of my big toe raw... I've heard that Shimano makes a wider shoe than most.
I wear a size 12 4E wide, any recomendations?

Thanks,
Johnny

Sandals, maybe? I've heard of people wearing them year round.

Sidi makes wide shoes (they call them Mega) but they are pricey

I have size 12 4E and use Sidi dominators in the Mega size. They work really well.

I'll take a look at Sidi and see what I can find,
are these something I could find at JensonUSA, or Nashbar?

Thanks for the replies, anything to help me be more comfortable on the bike helps.

Not sure about them, but performance carries them
