Now I have internet at home again

Hi everyone!

Haven't been ignoring you guys, just wrapped up in the move, lack of internet at home, rough week at work, all the usual excuses (and a few new ones too).

Snow tires are off the cars, snow blade is off the tractor, had to do the first mowing of both properties... I really need some 30hr days me thinks!

I AM riding - sadly, have missed some really nice weather, but am keeping on keeping on.

All is well - a madhouse, and not done with the move (ran out of storage, going to plan B now...)

Anyhow - miss reading, dunno what I've missed, played tag with the Historian a bit tonight...

Pop quiz - should I feel impotant since I now am having to carry THREE cell phones this week? LOL

That depends on where the phone is placed.

BTW, I called Peter tonight to check up on him. Perhaps if we hadn't been disconnected six minutes into the call I might have been able to speak. :-)

Now, read what I wrote above out loud please...I said 'impotant" not "impotence" - as in, "I am a really impotant man"...must be a local joke huh?

I *did8 call Neil back, but by then we just traded voice mails - BUT!! You should be proud to know that a few of his only words spoken were... So have you started planning out the route you will take to ride to work - heh, not even 5 miles in one sitting yet, but shame on me for not planning by 20+ mile ride to work yet

You brought up the subject of commuting, Grasshopper. Did you expect me to ignore the slow pitch softball you sent at me? :-)

No one is forcing you to bike commute to work, Peter, least of all me, a person who doesn't commute. Yet you suggested it. So you must have some interest.

Meanwhile, when are you riding with Chipcom and/or MrDanW?

Yup - it's a *goal* (GASP) of mine, before 08-15-10 to both ride to work and home again the same day. 18 odd miles by freeway - best guess 22-25 miles by other route (no, not known yet)...

RIdes...as soon as I get done with the move, rides come first on Saturdays...PERIOD

Then Saturdays it will be.

I have to admit with my current schedule and some rainy weekends and helping others move, I have been a little tied up myself. Being the relative with a truck has it's responsibilities.
