first TT in the morning..

I have my first race in almost 20 years tomorrow. I started riding again late last fall, since then I have dropped from over 265lbs to 231 (weighed this morning), am up to 150miles a week thanks to the beautiful weather we have been having (no more indoor spinning away lol).... I am doing a 13 mile TT on Presque Isle in Erie PA! I am very excited about it, though my TT rig consists of my road bike with clip-on aerobars and a set of Easton carbon "aero wheels". There are over 190 people registered, I am hoping for a top 100 finish.... I'll post how I do

Congratulations, post your result. By the way, I did my first time trial recently, though it was just an unofficial one with friends. It hurt.

Thanks everyone! we just got back from Erie, it was cold and wet there but not much wind so that was a good thing...I did much better than I expected myself to: finished 19th in my 40-49 age group , 52nd overall (over 200 entries), did it in 33min and avg'd a little over 22mph. I felt too good at the end so I didn't push myself enough. June is the Erie TT again, will do a sub30 min....
