A 2nd opinion fitting solved my problems. No more seat or leg pain.

I booked my bike into the other LBS that I use today for a 2nd opinion. They took a bike that I was told was prefect for me and lowered the seat moved it forward and changed the handle bar stem to move the bars up a bit. Those changes transformed the bike. I had been having IT band pain in my left leg by the 35K mark each ride but today I went 89.77K with no leg pain and no seat pain!!

I was also able to ride about 3KPH faster that I was before.

100K has been a big goal for me this year but today I road from Lake Ontario to Lake Erie and back and felt as if I could have done it again when I got back. Todays ride map.

i'm really loving my LBS today!

So for any new riders out there try getting your bike setup confirmed by another shop before you drop money on a new seat etc.

Interesting. I have a bike fit as a "to do" for my next bike, but I wonder if I should't get it done now.

That route through Niagara - was it on the canal path?

Yes for the the most part. I did go off the path in a few places. It's a really great ride very smooth and fast.
