An Athena Wedding

So my daughter was s'posed to get married a few months back, not sure what happened but we were suddenly slapped with the news that it was back on without all the big fancy stuff. I think maybe the BIG plans a few months back may have ended up being more trouble than just plain ol getting married. But all ends well but after we made an unexpected trip out of state for the wedding!

She chose my parent's 50th anniversary, so that party is this Saturday.

Nice church wedding without about 10 people. Then a nice dinner at some country club and a BBQ the next day.

Yes, my daughter is an Atehna, 5'7 and if I tell ya her weigth, she'll kill me, literally!

My daughter Sarah and hubby David

I hardly recognized Gina with her hair curled haha!

Us.....My daughter is not wearing heels, she' pretty tall

Me and my chick!

I sort of miss her cycling jersey, ok, not really!

Mom and Dad...50 years!

Congratulations Mr. Beanz! You and Mrs. Beanz should consider getting the happy couple a tandem as a wedding present!

Thanks! I did buy my daughter a very nice bike a few years back. She used it for about a year then decided she like boys more!...So I have it sitting in storage till she takes it up again, but nope, no tandem!

Tell your daughter congratulations, and that I hope she has as happy and long a marriage as my wife and I do.......32 years and going strong.

I was sort of upset as I wanted to plan a party for my parents but come to find out, my Mom had asked her to do it on her anniversary! I guess we don't always know all the details. Now that I see what's going on, yeah, nice touch! Thanks!

Beanz - yer daughter is gorgeous and that is one LUCKY man. IMHO - well, not so humble really - being married is my single greatest source of joy and I wish that for everyone.

Congratulations all around.

Congratulatios Beanz!!! I'm sure you and Gina are very proud. Don't be surprised if you suddenly become an "old" man and Grandpa Beanz in the not too distant future.

Very pretty bride, and a good looking family all around. Congratulations. Now just get her husband riding and she'll have to dust off that bike!

He's done a ton of running. Not sure what happened but he's gained weight in the last few months. Darn women!..If they lived closer, I'm sure he'd ride!

Mr. Beanz, I'm glad you identified Gina in photos #2 and #3. Without the riding helmet, I didn't recognize her and thought she was the brides sister.

Yeah, you can tell her I said that, I'll stand by that statement
