First post with pics(hopefully)

Rode the Richard Martin rail trail last Saturday, 5/8/10 with this group of friends.
Rail Trail group..jpgIt's a wonderful, shaded, gently sloping or mostly flat 11 miles, with bathrooms and picnic pavilions at each end. The entire 22 miles was a little much for a few of the group, but they hung in there like troopers! Veto end of trail..jpgThat's me in the blue jersey(yeah, the WIDE blue jersey!).

This church is at the Veto TN end of the trail. There is talk of trying to get the trail completed from this point to Pulaski TN, but money is tight everywhere right now!

Looks like a great ride. I love those trailways. I have 2 very nice ones here pretty close, the KATY Trail (Clinton, Mo-St Charles, MO) and the Frisco Highline (Springfield, MO-Boliver, MO) We need more of these across this country.
