First MTB Race this Sunday

Signed up for a MTB race this weekend, and I couldn't be more excited. I will admit I'm not the best MTBer in the world but thought, hey this looks like fun. I've been getting out more on the MTB especially since I got a new one awhile back and it's one of the reasons I entered a race. Here is the event I'll be doing.https://www.substanceprojects.com/sit...e%202010_0.pdf
And here is my new MTB, yes I got another Trek.

Good luck! I have been wanting to try a mtn bike race. Always seems to be a schedule conflict.

SO I went racing and man I had a blast, and to top it off I ended up on the podium. Seventh overall and third in my age class which was 20-39, I'm 39 on Thursday. If you have ever considered racing but never have do yourself a favour and go for it. There is no better way to learn how to ride than by racing that's for sure. I will say I was completely spent by the end of the 35k but I wouldn't give up that feeling for anything. Finished ride in 2:25:24

I think 1km off-road is worth about 3km on road when it comes to energy burned.... Way to go...
