How about a 2009 Specialized FSR-xc?

I'm about 265 and am looking at a used 2009 Sprcialized FSR-XC for $900. Will it hold up?

Which model is it (Pro, Expert, Comp, base)? What are you planning to do with it? Ride around the block? Try to jump the Grand Canyon? The FSR-xc has a solid frame, but the component spec, especially suspension, is lower-end than some of Specialized's other models. Looks like the base and Comp models come with forks that use springs for damping. IIRC, finding springs capable of handling Clydesdale weight can be difficult. The Expert and Pro models come with forks that use air springs, which might be a better suited to a Clyde. If you test-ride the bike, I'd make sure you can get the proper "sag" out of both the fork and shock...
