Chip Seal sucks

They are chip sealing my road today. I hate chip seal. That is all.

I feel for ya.
I did a century yesterday and a stretch of it (small in comparison to 100mi) was chip seal. Sucked. So numb afterwards. I was riding the painted stripe to get some relief.
I think if it were my street, i'd be ordering larger tires to offset it.

Thanks. I ride 35mm already. What I really hate is the dust, and the stone chips getting thrown up by cars as they pass by.

Bikes: One brand-less build-up, and a Connondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra Disc. A nicer bike than I need, but it was a good deal, so... ;-)

I've got an MS150 coming up, and there's usually at least 25 miles of fresh chip-seal each day. Not may favorite part of the ride.

3/4 or more of all the roads that I ride on are chip sealed. Riding on fresh chip seal sucks.
