Another Climb Vid and Pics

Today was a cool ride. I met a local ride that has a very nice blog on GMR. The road we ride into the mtns. She covers everything, hiking, cycling and even animals. We had met a couple years back when I mentioned the forums to her. Now I find out she's the fo'shizzle downhere!

First off, was that a Wolf on the side of the road? It is at the 3:04 mark. Also, I loved the part where you have the camera on the side of the road. Great video as always.

Thanks, a coyote. Pretty small. A motorsickle flew right by seconds before we did, didn't even bat an eyelash. He looked at us like he wanted us to pet him.:D

It would be cooler if it was a wolf. I couldnt really tell from the video if it was a coyote or a wolf.

Oh, oh oh oh oh yeah, it was a wolf. Tried to kill me but I was able to outrun it up the mtn, in my big ring with no shoes on!:D

Nice Lenticular Cloud.

Being a meteorologist and all, that would be the thing I pick out. Beautiful country to ride, for sure!

Thanks for sharing your ride videos. Makes me want to work even harder to reach my goal of one day getting a road bike. Such beautiful country.

Oh wow, you need a roadbike!:D You'd be surprised at how comfy they are when you find the right one and fit. Tyr several brands, they can be very different form one another. When you sit on the right one, you'll know it. :thumb:

I'm always envious of the rides you post. Even without the climbs, you seem to have more fun than anyone else on the forum. Always a breath of fresh air!

Thanks! I did my share of pushing the limits on rides. But the last few years of having fun while riding with the wife have made a big difference. She's a good rider but I do back of a bit, but it's taught me to enjoy the ride and have fun rather than beat down the dude next to you!:D

I do like to stay somewhat strong on the bike and do a tough ride every now and then to make sure I can, but having fun is #1 !:thumb:

True. I know that I would enjoy a good road bike as I do love speed and distance. It's my goal for next year to get myself a nice bike. Gives me time to get myself in shape a bit (riding mountain bikes for now) and lose some weight. This will give me some time to do some more research on bikes and hopefully test some out too..... plus save money to buy one. LOL

I do enjoy your vids though. Was on your blog earlier and just loved every moment of it. Thanks again.

Cool deal!...Thanks on the blog. Pretty simple and basic but heck, it's all about the local riders and local rides. I mean who cares about a gopher in my yard!:D

you have a gopher in your yard?

I once trained a cat to wait by one hole, whilst I opened a hose in the other. Worked occasionally, but was mostly just entertainment for both of us.

No!:D...I was just having fun, sort of a reference to some of the cycling blogs I've read!:p

The animals were changed to protect the innocent.:D

My boss has a Blue Heron that stands in the middle of his hay field and catches gophers. Do not completely understand it, but it stands right next to gopher holes waiting.
